Half Hot Half Cold (HHHC) is a Legendary quirk, granting the user the ability to produce Ice and Flames. The Ice and Flames produced by this quirk deal medium to high damage, have alarmingly big AOE's and due to the fact that there are lots of moves, makes this quirk good for combo's.


Trivia[]

  • This quirk is used by Shoto Todoroki, son of Rei Todoroki and Enji Todoroki (Endeavor) the current number one hero, who possesses the quirk known as "Hellflame" , brother of Toya (Dabi and this is CONFIRMED in the manga), Fuyumi and Natsuo Todoroki in the anime/manga "Boku no Hero Academia".
  • This quirk contains 3 move sets. Fire Moves, Ice Moves, and Combination Moves.
  • This quirk is one of the 13 revamped quirks of the game.
  • The shortened name of this quirk is HHHC. This abbreviation is used on the menu tab.
  • In the anime, manga and the game, this quirk is called "Half-Hot-Half-Cold”
  • This quirk has the most skills in the game, which are 12 skills.
  • NOTE: These skills are usable ONLY when Fire Mode or Ice Mode is on.

F Change Sides Pressing F once activates your fire side, pressing it again activates your ice side, pressing it once more activates a combination of ice and fire.

The fire side consists of burning (continuous) damage.

The ice side mostly focuses on freezing the opponent.

The combination is a mix of the two as it freezes the opponent and deals continuous damage. (Freeze time and burning damage is reduced in this form, compared to their individual sides.)

Ice X, Fire X, Ice Z, Fire Z, Ice Q, Double Q, Double Z,

Damage: 22.50x (Excluding fire damage)

Difficulty: Very easy


Ice Z, Ice X, Fire Q, Fire X, Fire Z - (Stun, DoT) - this combo is great as a fight starter as it runs flawlessly without any long attack animations.

Difficulty - Medium

Damage - 15.25x (excluding burn damage) - High.


Combination Q, Combination Z, Ice X, Fire X, Ice Z, Combination X, Ice Q - (Stun) - this combo requires opponents to be at a certain range, but is easier to land since the first 5 moves do not immobilize you.

Difficulty- Medium.

Damage - 23x (including fire X damage and the combination X damage from burn) - Extremely High.


Fire Z,Fire X,Ice Z,Ice X,Combination C-(Stun,DoT)-this also requires opponents of be in range immobilization only for the last move.It has very high damage.

Damage - 19.5x (if all hit)-Extremely High.


Ice C, Ice X, either into Ice Z or Q or into Fire+Ice X or C (Stun, Multiple Choice)- You can use c to either glide in on them or dash in front of them and tap c, the start requires you to get close to the other person so it is risky.

Difficulty-Medium-Hard (it has bit of risk from gliding in with Ice C)

Damage - 14.5x (if all hit and assuming you use Ice Z and Combination C and you hit all 3 parts of Combination C) - High.


Fire X, Fire Z, Ice X, Combination C or X

Difficulty - Easy

Damage - 14.75x (flashfreeze heatwave as last move), 13.75 (ultimate explosion as last move)

The final damage for each move depends on how much time the opponent spends in the fire taking burn damage, if you want to deal more damage instantly, do the combo with FlashFreeze Heatwave, if you want to do more damage overtime, do the combo with Ultimate Explosion


Fire X, Ice X, Fire Z, Ice Q, Combination Q, Ice Z

Difficulty: Easy-Medium

Damage - 17.25x, not including fire damage is a pretty good combo since you can repeat it with little to no cooldown. it may be hard learning the combo, but performing it is easy, which is why it is put in between

Difficulty: Easy

Damage - 24.25x, not including fire damage


Ice X, Fire X, Fire Z, Fire Q(Optional), Ice C(Optional), Ice Z or Both Sides Z/Ice Q or Both sides Q, retreat and repeat or use "Both Sides X" above the Center of the Arena, Repeat when Cooldowns come off.(Requires the user to be Fast)

Difficulty: Medium - Very Hard

Damage - 12x(Minimum) - 19.75x(Full Combo)

Disputably and Arguably the most effective combo with the Quirk. As it guarantees an Extremely high damage towards your opponent and forces them to wait out the combo. This can be countered but a pressured enemy won't be likely to do so, rather they would just do nothing or Block to survive. Even if your enemy survives, they would've been depleted of most of their HP and would rather avoid combat in an attempt to heal. This combo's 2 Weakness are your enemy's action or your own thinking as you may forget the next move and end up giving an opening to your enemy. This is mostly used by PVP users at Ranks 160+(Unreliable Info as others may know of it early on). This Combo can also be adapted and changed to your liking.


Strengths:[]

  • The combos deal large amounts of damage if landed properly.
  • The quirk has a lot of versatility due to having 12 moves.
  • The quirk can repeat it's moves super fast if you find a good combo, and with 12 moves at your disposal, you can find lots of them.

Weaknesses:[]

  • The combos require a lot of skill due to it being rather hard to switch between modes.
  • Some of the moves (3) make you immobile, making it easier to get attacked
